a unique place...

Le Chant du Champ literally means the song of the field — a poetic name this place has carried for many years, along with its serene and distinctive character. In these old photographs, you may spot its lush surroundings, the pond, and its elegant exterior, characteristic of Belle Époque architecture (late 19th to early 20th centuries).

Much of the exterior has been carefully preserved, including the old shutters and brick chimneys. Inside, you will find original terrazzo and parquet floors, as well as unique features such as the Art Nouveau fireplace in glazed ceramic and the ornate iron-framed glass doors.

here we are today...

We fell in love with this unique place and did everything we could to bring this beautiful project to life. This house has now become a home that we share with our Cocker Spaniel... Beyond Le Chant du Champ, we’ve also fallen for the charm of our village and its surrounding countryside: forests, rivers, ponds and lakes, rich wildlife and flora, scenic walking paths, as well as nearby villages, farms, abbeys, châteaux, lively squares, markets, cafés, and bistros. A truly beautiful corner of the Loiret region we’re delighted to share with you.

We are in Griselles, Loiret (France), 20' away from Montargis.
